It’s a busy week at Snuggle Sleeves HQ as we’re excitedly preparing our stand for the Harrogate International Nursery Fair this weekend!
The brilliant show for all things baby runs from the 20th-22nd March is an fantastic place to find out what’s new and amazing in the little ones world and we’re here to share some of our favourites with you!
At Snuggle Sleeves HQ this morning we’ve been chatting about what helps our little ones drift off to sleep. Whether they are new songs sung with softness or old favourites that we heard as children ourselves a little lullaby is a great way to help tots get off to sleep.
These are the tunes that made our team’s list of lullaby favourites:
- Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
An oldie but a goodie. Our all time fave for little and big dreamers.
- Lavender’s Blue
We’ve long loved this gorgeous nursery rhyme that appeared recently in the lovely remake of Cinderella with the fabulous Lilly James.
Not a typical baby lullaby but this classic Rodgers and Hammerstein tune from the film the Sound of Music has a soothing tune and a repetitive chorus that helps those tired eyes close swiftly.
- Mary had a Little Lamb
Another traditional and charming tune that is sure to help set off sweet slumber.
- Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Whether you’re a Judy Garland fan or Eva Cassidy’s emotional version is more your style – there’s no denying this beautiful tune is made for dreaming.
We hope you liked them and if you’re anything like us will be humming them all day!
What are your favourite lullabies? We’d love to hear what your little one likes to hear at bedtime.
With the festive season fast approaching Christmas is an thrilling time for everyone, but with all that excitement and and fun filled busy days your usual routine can go a little off kilter which can mean your little ones sleep can suffer.

Foraged fruits are firmly on the seasonal menus of top restaurants and our little ones love them too. Whether you’re lucky enough to have an orchard where you can have fun picking your own fruits together or discover some delicious looking ones at the market – a Plum and Pear purée is a lovely recipe to get all that gorgeous goodness into your little one.
Here’s our favourite way to make it…
We’ve chosen plums and pears for our puree as they look oh so pretty, but you can also mix up the purée with your own choice of seasonal fruits as apples work wonderfully too.
Make the most of lovely soft autumn fruits by:
- Simply stoning, coring and chopping,
- Simmer in a very little amount of water until soft. You can then remove skin from the plums if you wish but we like to keep them on for maximum goodness and flavour.
- Blend until smooth.
- Then serve, mix with your choice of breast or formula milk, baby rice or some nice plain yoghurt.
We hope your little ones love it.
Special thanks go to the wonderful Drawnbybeth for the fabulous recipe illustration – it makes us want to get in the kitchen right now!

Wow! We’re a teensy bit thrilled to have been given an award by some marvellous mummy reviewers over at Bizzie Baby – the wonderful website for parents who want honest advice, real reviews and great tips on the products they purchase for their little ones.
The team of testers gave our sleeves a work out and were thrilled with the results for their wee ones. Needless to say we’re pleased as punch about what they said…
Fantastic quality, warm and snuggly, and thick material…I would definitely recommend it’s great if your child uses sleeping bags to keep snug and keep their arms warm.
I love the idea of this product. I couldn’t wait to test it out and thought it was a fabulous and simple idea. The design is simple but brilliant. The Snuggle sleeves are well made and excellent quality. I especially like the added scratchmits on them. I like the fact that they are made from a lovely quality white fabric but with a choice of coloured edges.
I try to keep my children in sleeping bags until they are at least one year old so these are perfect with their sizes ranging from 0-12 months. The Snuggle Sleeves are made from a lovely thick and soft material. I had no problem putting these on Benjamin at bedtime; he didn’t even seem to notice! He was comfortable and warm.
I would recommend Snuggle Sleeves especially for a winter baby or a second baby as babies can be born in different seasons you might not have thicker items for bedtime, these are brilliant for adding the extra layer. I think this product is a brilliant idea and lovely quality!
Thank you to everyone at Bizzie Baby and for all your fantastic feedback – we’re so pleased we’re able to keep your little ones cosy and are honoured to have an award from you.
